About Us

GiantIsland.com is a website and brand, owned and operated by "GiantIsland LLC", a small family-owned business. We were White Pacific Software/Lite Pacific, but have since changed our business name to GiantIsland LLC, using the "palm tree" as our product brand. You may still see the White Pacific/Lite Pacific name and "white wave" brand on some of our earlier products.

The software products and innovation behind GiantIsland.com were built first and foremost for our own families and friends. We were so happy with the results, that we wanted to share our software with others. Because we design innovative website products to fulfill a need rather than generate one, we knew that our web products would succeed as well for others who also have the same desire for simple, functional, website photo gallery software.

We also knew we wanted to build "website photo gallery software", not desktop software offerings or yet another photo sharing service. So, we built our first product, ImageIsland, to help us manage our family photos online. In doing so, we fulfilled our need for a simple, easy-to-use photo manager that only required a web browser to install and use (no relational database setup, desktop software, plugin or third party url). That was exciting to us! And the design we have come to find out, is popular with a lot of other people, as well. So, from that direction, we continue to build new products with the ongoing goal of creating even simpler media management website software.

Our business continues to innovate new online products, like ImageIsland Professional 3.0, based on a philosophy of helping other families and businesses manage their data in a more empowering way using existing web domains. We strive everyday, as we grow, to remember that it's the personal web user like you whom we care most about and whom our software is designed to serve.
